The flagship of the Howard University Libraries (HUL), Founders Library is the main arts and sciences library and the hub of most of HUL’s internal and consortium-based services.
As one of Howard University’s major research facilities, the MSRC collects, preserves, organizes, and makes available for research a wide range of resources chronicling the Black experience throughout the African Diaspora.
The School of Business Library’s mission is to support learning, teaching, research, and curriculum development for the School of Business as well as the wider University community.
CURRENTLY UNDER RENOVATION Since 1983, the Undergraduate Library (UGL) has been a space specifically designed for collaborative use by our undergraduate population.
The Divinity Collection houses more than 100,000 volumes. Its subject emphases include biblical studies, reformed theology, church history, ethics, world religions, pastoral counseling, and urban ministries. (As of summer 2015, the Howard University School of Divinity Library has been temporarily relocated to the 4th floor of the Law Library building.)
The Louis Stokes Health Sciences Library is the primary health information resource facility for the University’s medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing, and allied health sciences students and faculty as well as Howard University
Hospital staff, and other.healthcare providers and researchers.
The Howard University School of Law Library’s mission is to provide a quality, complete collection of legal materials for the Law School’s faculty and students. (As of Summer 2015, the Howard University School of Divinity Library was temporarily relocated to the 4th floor of the Law Library
building.)
