What is Open Pedagogy?
Open pedagogy is a way to promote active learning through the use of open tools like OER materials, open software, open courseware, and other freely available resources. Open pedagogy offers an opportunity to invite students to participate as creators of their own educational materials. These materials are then openly licensed and can be shared thus furthering the growth of others.
