Entering the Library
The Bison One Card System is now in effect at The Wayne A. I. Frederick Undergraduate Library. Please have your Howard ID ready to scan upon entering the library. If you have any additional questions, please contact the Bison One Card Office at onecard@howard.edu
Accessing Library Materials
Only current Howard University faculty, staff, students, and patrons affiliated with partnering consortia may borrow books from Howard University Libraries. Borrowing patrons must present a valid University ID. Members of the public and alumni cannot borrow Library materials.

Internet Access
Visitor wireless internet access is available across campus and within the libraries. Library online content and databases can be accessed while on campus. A valid Howard ID is needed to log in for access to licensed library online content and databases while off campus. For any questions you may have, please see Ilab Resources.
Computers
The Wayne A. I. Frederick Undergraduate Library has a computer lab, operated by ETS, for Howard student, faculty, and staff use. Students, faculty, and staff have priority when computers and other library resources are in high demand. For any questions, please see Ilab Resources.
Electronic Resources
Licensed electronic resources are available from computers located in the libraries. However, some databases are restricted to Howard University faculty, staff, and students. If you have questions about a specific online resource, please contact a Subject Librarian, or chat with a Librarian.
