The Howard University Libraries and the Moorland-Spingarn Research Center are open to the Howard community (student, faculty, staff, and alumni) and the public. However, borrowing privileges depend on your university or library affiliation.
Howard alumni and the public are welcome to do research and attend events at the libraries. To enter any Howard library, you will need a valid and current government-issued ID. You may also be asked to sign in when entering.
Please note, that as a private institution situated, Howard has the legal right to bar anyone from any or all parts of its premises. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior of any kind may result in suspension of visitor access.
